Bargain Basement Bobwhites: An Affordable DIY Approach to Managing Land for Wild Bobwhite Quail

  1. I am a life long bird hunter in the Mississippi delta. I farm corn and soybeans no till, and I am determined to bring quail back. I have been successful in some areas, but do not see why I am not having more success. I provide lots of food and cover.

  2. I would like to release some quail in a property I just bought. Is there anywhere I can buy quail that are wild that might survive? I live in Parker County Texas. Is there a website you can refer me to for releasing quail in Texas. I am not releasing them to hunt just want to help in their comeback. Property is a costal field with a running creek, some trees along the creek with more trees to the west.

  3. My daughter owns 100+ acres of mostly grassland in Dickson County Tennessee. We would love to start wild bobwhite quail on the property. We leave it unmoved most of the year for our bees. How should we proceed?
