Lunch will be provided for participants staying for the Grazing 102 program.

Topics to be covered:

  • Why use native warm-season grasses in your grazing system?
  • Animal performance and economics
  • Native warm-season grass establishment overview
  • How to manage native warm-season grass forages – maintaining vigor and productivity
  • Workshop will include a pasture walk to view native warm-season grass pastures on SIPAC
